What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets assistants like Claude safely use external tools. With the Pictulab connector, your AI can generate images for you.

Do I need an API key?

No. The connection uses OAuth 2.1: you sign in with your Pictulab account (Google or email) and that's it. No keys to paste or manage.

How much does it cost?

Generating images consumes your team tokens, just like in the app. Listing models or checking balance is free.

Is it secure and private?

Auth is OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and the session is your own account's. Pictulab only acts on your behalf when you ask it from the chat.

Which clients does it support?

Any client that supports remote MCP: Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Cursor and VS Code, among others.
